Friday, July 20th 2012 is only a couple of days away and the new Plaid Anxiety CD "The Spectrum" is impatiently waiting to be released. We ran across so many issues along the road of putting this CD together, but alas it will be ready for the public on time. Unfortunately due to recording and production issues, this release will not be available online until after Friday, but if you just can't wait for a hard copy, come to the CD Release & Spectral Tour Kickoff Show this Friday at JAD's Caddyshack in Essex, MD. We will soon be posting new songs from the CD online and updating our Facebook Page from the road, so if you are interested in knowing what is going on in the world of Plaid....keep checking for updates. As we have now hit Mid-Summer and the release of the new Plaid Anxiety CD "The Spectrum" grows closer, some interesting and exciting news came to light this past week regarding the band. Our "single" from last year's AUTOPILOT CD, "My High School Crush Is A Lesbian" was played on the Dr. Demento Show. This quite an honor for the band and a potentially good stepping stone for notoriety. In more recent news, The Spectral Tour is pretty much booked and the physical release of "The Spectrum" is set for Friday, July 20th at our CD Release Party. See our Events page for more details on where we will be playing. Online sales should start before July 20th and you will probably hear our first song off the CD in the next week.
