It's been a long year to say the least....and it's been an even longer time since we've updated our News Page!!! It has been an extremely busy year fro Plaid Anxiety, though. We squeezed a couple of shows in before COVID-19 hit the states, so we thank those of you who were able to attend...we also FINALLY finished and released our newest album in 8 years!!!! CATCH 22 is available on CD as well as download and streaming via whatever platform you prefer. 

We had a great response to pictures for the slideshow video for "You're Pretty", the first single off of Catch 22...so thank you for the assistance and support on that. We also had the song "Peanut Butter & Jelly" played on the historic Dr. Demento Show. Very exciting. Who knows what will come next from Catch 22.........

To date we have only played 3 live shows during the pandemic and we have nothing planned as of yet, but rest assured we are learning some new songs and tweeking the show for our big return. In the meantime we will also be writing and recording more original music and just being Plaid.

2017 is going to be a busy year for Plaid. We are currently booking shows for the entire year and the calendar is filling up quickly. We are also working on the final touches of our newest release and steadily adding more songs to our covers library. Keep checking back for updates on everything Plaid!!! We are in the final recording phases of the new Plaid Anxiety CD, whose title will be revealed soon. The album covers just about every style we felt inclined to conquer and we hope that you are as interested in the songs we've created as we are. 90% of the music has been recorded already. Once we finish laying the last couple of tracks down, we will begin recording vocals. After that, we still have mixing, mastering, and pressing...but rest assured...we are continuing to work hard on this album and it will be ready within the next few months.
