Once again it has been a while since we made any updates, but we have been busy as always. After another year of good shows and learning about 25 new cover songs for our set lists, we have called it quits for live shows for 2015...not that we don't love performing...it is one of the main reasons we love music...performing live!!! We are actually back in the studio now focusing on our new album which has been delayed far too long. Our goal is to have the album completed and ready to go by early Spring 2016 at the latest. The actual release date may come sooner depending on our progress. We promise you will not be disappointed with the long awaited follow-up to The Spectrum, which we consider to be our greatest work to date.

In the meantime, we will do our best to keep the News updated as well as any shows that may pop up in 2016. Thank you for supporting us and as always....STAY PLAID!!!

It has been a while since we posted any news to the site, but with good reason...we have been very busy with our usual routine...playing steady live shows, incorporating several cover tunes into our live set, and writing & recording our new CD. The new CD is approximately 3/4 of the way complete and has a tentative release of early Spring 2015. We are very excited to share the new music we have been working on and will most likely be accompanied by several new music videos. Some of the new songs have been slowly working their way into the live sets, so please keep yourselves updated with shows on our Events page. Keep your eye and ears open for New Plaid Anxiety coming and as always....stay Plaid.

Plaid Anxiety has been writing, recording and performing live for nearly 2 decades...and during that time, we have never made a music video. Hard to believe in this day and age,  but it has never happened.....UNTIL NOW!!! We are currently filming our first music video, doing everything ourselves, with the help of some of our good friends, of course, too...we are currently about 1/3 through the video and we are having a blast doing it so far. We will keep everyone posted on our progress and let you know when the big "premiere" will be, which will most likely be on Youtube and/or here.

On another note, we are also piecing together our "Sorta Greatest Hits" CD together at the same time...the release date on that might be pushed up to early 2014, mainly because of the time spent on the video, but rest assured...all of your favorite Plaid songs will soon be on one CD for your listening pleasure.

We are nearly halfway through 2013 and it has already been a good year for Plaid Anxiety. Normally we are busy writing and recording a new CD, but we have been steadily playing shows and still have more on the horizon. However, we are working on several projects at the same time. We have a few new songs written and are in the process of laying those tracks down now as well as our first music video which should be done in the next few weeks...tentatively.

2013 will bring a new CD by Plaid Anxiety containing our favorites from over the years as well as the aforementioned new tracks. Those tracks will also be available on the next full length album which will be out later in the year or early 2014. We are also in the process of recording and producing a Live Double-Disc....possibly even Triple-Disc containing over 40 tracks.

2012 has passed by very quickly it seems and it was a very fun and exciting year for Plaid Anxiety. We hope everyone had a good year as well and that all of your holiday wishes came true. We played a total of 18 live shows from July 2012 to December 2012...more shows than we have ever played in one year...and the last show in 2012 marked our 50th live performance. Quite exciting for us. So, now that 2013 is here, we are taking a little break to regroup and begin writing some new material. Lots of ideas are already underway and you can definitely look forward to hearing some new music from the band this year. Thank you for everyone who supported us in 2012 by coming to our shows and buying our music and we hope to see you and friends out there this year. We will keep you updated on everything going on Plaid. Here we come, 2013!!!!
